Shawn Wynne, a college administrator with more than 20 years of experience in the areas of enrollment and financial aid, becomes vice president for enrollment at Trinity International University.
Following five years as associate director of admissions at Wheaton College, she served as chief enrollment officer for 17 years. Wynne had responsibility for selecting and enrolling incoming undergraduate students. During that time, she met or exceeded recruitment goals while maintaining the overall academic profile of the institution.
She also provided leadership to increase campus diversity by targeting diverse student populations through creative programs, and directed merit scholarship programs.
“Ms. Wynne comes to us with a rare level of experience in higher education admissions and unparalleled level of experience within the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU),” Trinity president Nicholas Perrin said. “I know few individuals who bring such a special blend of cultural understanding, poise, and strategic leadership.”
Wynne becomes Perrin’s first hire as president at TIU. Perrin began work June 10, shortly after the Board of Regents elected him unanimously.
“I am humbled by the honor of joining President Perrin and excited to contribute to the University Leadership Team at Trinity International University,” Wynne said. “I can see God’s clear provision throughout this process and stand in awe of His sovereign hand.”
Wynne will begin her new role July 1.
