University Day of Prayer, March 27
Trinity CommunicationsMarch 24, 2019
This upcoming Wednesday, March 27, classes will be cancelled for Day of Prayer, a day set aside each semester for students, faculty and staff to meet together in the ATO Chapel for a time of prayer and worship.
Both the TEDS/TGS and Trinity College communities will meet in the chapel for a combined service in the first hour, 9 a.m.–10 p.m. After that, from 10 a.m.–12 p.m., TEDS/TGS will continue with focused prayer together in Hinkson Hall while the College stays in the chapel for a prayer service.
Both meetings will engage in directed prayer for spiritual renewal within Trinity’s campus community, God’s blessing on Trinity’s ministry efforts in the church and around the world, as well as the strengthening of brothers and sisters in the global church and their gospel witness, noting especially the persecution of fellow Christians in India, China, Nigeria, and North Korea.
For undergrad students:
Trinity College students will be eligible to receive chapel credit based on their attendance at Day of Prayer chapel. Every student receives (1) credit whether or not they attend. Students can receive another credit when they scan in at 9 a.m. and, if they stay until 12 p.m., one more for a total of up to (3) credits.
